Tocumwal Lions Community Hostel

Aged Care Gold Coast welcomes Tocumwal Lions Community Hostel in Tocumwal, NSW 2714 residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing items from their previous home.

With the generous support of our community service clubs the Lions Club and borrowed funds we have been successful in providing a first class facility for older people requiring a low level of care. The Hostel is operated by a Board of Management which comprises 4 Lions members and 3 members of the general public. A Coordinator carries out day-to-day administration and qualified staff cares for the residents. The Hostel is a well designed building set in beautifully landscaped gardens. It features spacious lounge and dining areas hairdressing salon and activities area all of which have in-floor heating and reverse cycle air-conditioning as have all residents’ rooms. Each room is approximately 16 square metres. They all have built in robes with hanging space shelves a lockable cupboard shoe rack and space and power point for a small refrigerator. Each room has a sliding glass door and security door to the exterior of the building and a door into the passage. A key is provided for each door The Tocumwal Lions Hostel Management and Maintenance are responsible for maintenance of your room and any furniture or equipment supplied by the Hostel. Residents are responsible for maintenance of any of their personal belongings and furniture
