Aged Care Gold Coast welcomes Uniting AgeWell Strathglen in Berriedale, TAS 7011 residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing items from their previous home.

Uniting AgeWell Strathglen is a 45 bed residential facility comprising 45 high level care beds co-located with five independent living units nearby.

The 15 bed dementia specific area is safe with security and protection and is provided within a non-restrictive environment, allowing residents to access outdoor areas. The dementia specific area is staffed 24 hours per day.

Situated north of Hobart, Strathglen enjoys close proximity to parks, Hotels and Moorilla Winery. Residents, friends and family can also sit and relax in the outdoor areas and enjoy the attractive surrounding garden.

Strathglen provides a caring home for residents within a secure, warm and lovely environment. As part of our vision and values, Strathglen assists and supports residents to make ageing a meaningful part of life. Residents are encouraged to make choices and decisions regarding their care and lifestyle.

Our experienced Registered Nurses and Care Staff provide quality personal care 24-hours per day. Families and friends of residents are encouraged to be involved in the overall care of residents through regular family case conferences and reviews facilitated by Care Coordinators.

A range of social and leisure activities are offered to residents. All meals are nutritious and freshly cooked on the premises at Strathglen making it easy to cater for all individual needs and preferences.

The residential aged care facility consists of single rooms with ensuites and wardrobes.
